We carried out the conservation and restoration of two roof lanterns at Princes Mead School. Both roof lanterns had to be removed to our workshops, tagged and disassembled. The spar ends had corroded and they had to be re-tipped in stainless steel. The glazing was replaced with new and all was re-leaded and re-installed on site. The works were carried out in a timely fashion in the holidays so as not to disrupt the school.
